What happens when you take the raw, three-chord energy of The Ramones and feed it through Roland Space Echoes and heavy mixing desks? You get Dubmones. This 2026 remix album on Echo Beach recruits top-tier dub scientists—including Dreadzone, Gaudi, and RSD (Rob Smith)—to deconstruct classics like "Blitzkrieg Pop," "Pet Sematary," and "I Believe In Miracles." The Vibe: Skanking guitars, thunderous sub-bass, and delayed snares. A perfect collision of CBGBs punk history and Kingston sound system culture. EN (DJ Review): One of the most creative dub crossover projects of the year. Translating the frantic energy of punk rock into slow, spacious dub requires masterful production, and heavyweights like Gaudi, Dreadzone, and RSD absolutely deliver. An essential selection for reggae/dub DJs looking to surprise the dancefloor with instantly recognizable, yet deeply transformed hooks.
