https://www.beatport.com/release/the-pivot/7580758 [About the Release & Vibe] ⚡ A masterclass in modern house grooves, classic New York rhythm, and timeless turntable wizardry. Fusing underground house foundations with razor-sharp contemporary production, The Pivot marks a monumental 13-track inaugural album for Mirror Ball Recordings (MBA001). Hip-hop and turntable legend DJ Scratch brings decades of rhythm-section mastery to the house arena, delivering infectious basslines, vocal hooks, and peak-hour club energy. Capped off with heavyweight remixes of "Electric Stew" from house royalty Kenny Dope and Chicago icon Terry Hunter, this LP is built to shake sound systems from top to bottom. EN (DJ Review): A brilliant 13-track statement blending technical turntable pedigree with raw dancefloor appeal. DJ Scratch strips house music down to its hypnotic essentials across the entire LP, while enlisting house legends Kenny Dope and Terry Hunter on remix duties to seal the deal. Essential rotation material for selectors pushing authentic, groove-heavy club sounds.
